Night Owl////Early Bird

Night Owl////Early Bird

I have always gone to bed after the 1100 PM news (usually set TV on sleep timer to ?listen? to Jay Leno). Alarm goes off at 4:30 AM during the week. Usually up by 8 or 9 AM on week-ends. I might get in several naps in during Saturday and/or Sunday.

We just got back from a trip to Charlotte NC to attend Joe Gibbs Racing Fan Fest. We left here at 4:30 PM Thursday, got to Joe Gibbs Racing at 10 minutes after Midnight Friday. Sat in line for autographs (with several cat naps) until 9 AM when they started giving out wrist bands. Spent the entire day there, and then went out for supper that night with friends who work at Joe Gibbs. We were finally in the hotel room by 9 PM, where we all crashed. Up by 8 AM Saturday and, after hitting several outlet malls, made it home by 11:30 PM Saturday night. Glad I didn?t have to drive.

During my recovery from OHS (and before returning to WORK) it was nothing to be on the computer at 2 or 3 in the morning. Sleep patterns were all screwed up.

May God Bless,

Danny

I'm an early bird by nature, normally in bed before 10pm and up before 6am. But I've have had a lot of stress in my life over the past year (work, family & church-related mostly) and have been waking up in the middle of the night around 3am. I'll get up and spend an hour or so on the computer before sliding back into bed for an hour or two.

I get up early, but not as early as I use to!:p
For more than 20 years, I got up around 4:30am, five days a week, to be at the pool when it opened at 5. I could be back back home before my husband left for work at the hospital, and I was wide awake enough to hold a conversation without being grumpy (WHO, ME? :p :p )

Nowdays I wake up when he gets up--5:15--and sometimes get a cup of coffee or fall back asleep until 6:30-7.

I get up around 6 AM- 6:30 if I'm lucky (automatic without an alarm clock)and am usually in bed by 10 or 10:30 with a book until I fall asleep around 11. I also try to sneak a nap in around 3PM, but that's been harder to do since Dick is semi-retired and spending more time at home and likes "help" with his projects around the house.
