Just a brief note to let you know that I am now safe at home. :D Surgery was scheduled for oct 4 but delayed until the fifth. Everything went exceptionally well, very little blood loss and I'm having very little pain. No medications except the pain pills. Was discharged 8:30 Sunday Morning but waited around at the hotel an extra day to spend with my daughter.
Will send more details later, as warned by my new friends here, I tire real easy.

Welcome home and thanks for letting us know. Please get lots of rest and follow the doctor's orders.

Take care.

Ditto what geebee said! Follow instructions and don't get too cocky when you think you're doing better than anticipated. If you push too hard, fate has a way of knocking you right on your #$%^! Only push as hard as you can without getting tierd or winded; and get LOTS of naps in there for a while.
Here's to wishing you a full and uneventful recovery :)

Welcome home! Now be good to yourself and take it easy for the next several weeks.:D

Welcome Home! I hope you find the same experience that I have had ----The anticipation was way worse than the actual surgery. I can't believe how much better I get every day. I was at my Cardio. for my 2 week post op visit today and they were all amazed that I had just had surgery. In fact, I have to play this up more around here so I still keep getting waited on!

Take it easy, and post the details when you get a chance.

Wow! Discharged at 3 or 4 (depending on how you count it) days post-op. Either way - that's gotta be some sorta record! Congrats.

Great news.. welcome back.. take it slow and easy.. and thanks for the update:) We like to get good reports!
