Just how many others, besides myself like to BBQ all through the year instead of just in the summer, and one of my favorite hobbies is to cook on the BBQ. So here goes nothing...LOL Harrybaby:D :D :D

Sure I grill outside in all weather, that is unless the snow is up to my knees and I can't wade to the grill.:p

Year round for us. I don't care if it's -10F outside. Grilled food simply tastes better.

I'm not sure what you mean by barbecue so I will attempt to answer your question. We grill hamburgers, hotdogs, steak, shrimp, etc. year-round, but of course it's rarely below 50 here. I know in Michigan I was very excited when my sister-in-law said we were eating barbecue until I found out that it was just a doctored sloppy joe! Barbecue in Texas involves a pit that has a trailer hitch so it can be transported wherever necessary, at least half a cow (the fatter the better) and maybe a goat, and several hours of beer drinking before you eat. The biggest barbecue cookoff in this area is part of the Houston Rodeo, which takes place in February when it is usually about 40-50 and rainy. Now that's good food!

I BBQ on a gas grill all year around (unless of course the snow is so high that it's over my head...LOL). As Ross just posted, I too, love the taste of grilled food, and I enjoy cooking on the Grill as a hobby...Gotta Love Grilling!!! Harrybaby:D :D :D :D

Aussies love a BBQ especially on the weekends. The kids will eat a BBQ'd sausage in a bread roll with onions and sauce for breakfast, lunch and dinner :D .

Yep, nothing beats southern BBQ. We were part of a team...and compeated while living in the south. Best Ribs and pulled pork. Make your sandwich and top it with slaw! Yum. So yes love southern BBQ. Even though we are diehard yankees :D

Yes, year round. Huge gas grill on back deck.complete with a gas burner..in case power is off in the winter..Can boil water, ect..(coffee, soup, ect.)As I type, hubby has Johnsonville ..Bratwurst on it now. Yummy........Nancy..did you buy a new grill..Please post the picture of your old one when the snow fell on it.:D Off the roof?I still laugh when I remember your posting it..:D Bonnie

us too!
we love a great bbq, no matter how cold it may get out there! naturally, it's easier to do when the weather cooperates... still, even rain doesn't stop us!!
tastes so good, my mouth is watering as i type!

Just for you Bonnie-

Here are some of the ice chunks that fell off the roof. It's hard to see, but they are about 9 inches thick, and although they are broken in the photo, they came down as one solid chunk about 48 inches by 18 inches. So, some of our esteemed engineers or mathematicians can figure out how much a solid ice chunk 18X48X9 weighs. And they fell from a second story.

Grilling outside, at my house during the winter, is hazardous to your health:D

Thanks Nancy

Thanks Nancy

I don't remember the year..I think we were just posting pictures of that winter.....but, remember laughing..I know it was not funny to you..:D Did yall have a big ice storm?I think it was the same winter we had the ice..Hubby tried to break the ice into..on our sidewalk.. I think he broke the Axe handle.:p .....It must have been the winter after my surgery..I think I stayed inside for a week waiting for it to melt.We get NO sun in the winter months..Salt, ect. Nothing helped to melt it... Bonnie

It was a year of record snowfall, and the ice was what we call here, an ice dam, or large edge of ice on the roof caused from the continual thawing and refreezing of snow melt on the warm roof.

We have metal snow slides on the roof edges. If you don't have them, water backs up and then finds its way through your roof. Then you have TROUBLE.

But other than a year like that, I love to grill outside.
