At least not now!
My effusion has NOT grown in 9 days and they said that there were pockets that may appear a tad smaller!!
That means that It has stablalized and HOPEFULLY my body will just get rid of it on its own!!
thanks for the prayers and well wishes!
This is a definite answer to prayer for me

very nice! I guess you didn't believe me when I said the window was a piece of cake. You scared that fluid right out of your body.:D

Randy.. thanks!:)
I think I am just tired of the whole thing.. we have dealt with this for 9 weeks now and I am ready to recover!!

My cardio thinks that this is a good sign..I have never made it this many days (21) without needing pericardiocentesis..so that is a good sign..and the fact that it is not growing!

If they would have performed the window 2 weeks ago I would have been fine with it, but I am so ready to get that hospital smell out of my mind!! the tubes, the smell, the food, the whole lovely experience!!

Lets get to some living again:D

WOO-HOO!!!!!!!!

This is good news indeed. Congrats. Let the healing begin!

Well I was going to share mine with you, but guess you won't be needing it now. Oh well, not the first time I've been let down. :D

So glad

So glad

I am really happy for you that you do not need another procedure. I am hoping you have made it over the last hurdle and can now really begin to heal. I also had 2 readmissions after my surgery. One the same month and one 3 months later. I can understand totally that you do not want to go back to any hospital. Of course I picture Hershey Hospital with chocolate everywhere and on all meal trays. Since I am a chocaholic I might not mind too much.
Take care and try to enjoy the rest of the summer with the kids.
Jo

Great news! I hope this is the beginning of a complete and glorious recovery.

Joanne..
When we got our first bill from hershey, it stated the charges were for my accomadations:confused:
I laughed and then remembered that I did get breakfast in bed each day, had room service for each meal, maid service, they brought me fresh gowns each day and a full mini bar stocked with soda, boost, and iced beverages:D

So I guess that Hotel Hershey has nothing on Hospital at Hershey!!
I do not remember any chocolates on my pillows tho'

GOOD News. Happy to hear you've taken a definite turn on your road to full recovery. Keep up the good work. It's all uphill from here.

Hooray

Hooray

Thanks for sharing your good news Marky, I'm adding my prayers to all the others that this is the turning point for you. Here's to a complete and boring recovery from here on out - you've had more than your share of excitement!

Love,
Liz
