Jonn came home from RIH last Sunday after a 10 day stay for his pericardial effusion. He did very well after 1500 cc was removed from his pericardium and another 1200 cc was removed from his pleural space. We are so thankful to his surgeons and particularly the nursing staff on CTIC and ICTU for a third chance. They are the best. John is now walking 30 minutes a day or more, had a great stress test yesterday, and starts cardiac rehab next week. Right on schedule! Deb

Thank God for the good news.

Thank God for the good news.

I am so happy to hear that you are over the mountain, and really on this side this time.
Good luck.

Great news Deb!
I imagine he's past the worst hurdle, and it will be smooth sailing from here on out.:)

Thanks for the update. Here's hoping that this is it for any setbacks.

Good news!! Hope it's all downhill (so to speak) from this point on. Your mountain was a bit higher than some others.
