Is on his way to surgery immediately. They should be taking him down right about now. Dr. Alexander, the specialist is going to try to save his foot and rebuild the ankle joint with bone from his hip, if possible. He said he has about a 30% of losing the foot. Of course, there are no guarantees even with this surgery that he won't, but it's the best shot he's got and it has to be done right now.

Chris is upset because no one he knows is there to be with him. Gee, guess he should have stayed home huh? Yes, that's sarcasm on my part. Honestly, it's ripping my heart out that I'm not there with him. With me prepping for this colonscopy tomorrow and the procedure tomorrow, we don't see being able to be up there until Saturday sometime. This is going to be a large part of his instant growing up. I asked him just what he thought he was going to do when he gets out this time because he's really going to be laid up. This remains to be seen.

Crank out the prayers for an excellent result and no infections please!

I'm upping the revolutions on my crank speed for the prayers I'm sending Ross.

Stepping Up The Prayers Right Now....

Stepping Up The Prayers Right Now....

Ross,
I am stepping up the prayers for both you and Chris, as he goes through his sugery and you go through your Colonoscopy....I have been through two of those, and the proceedure is actually easier than the prep....gosh I hated the Newlightly I had to drink....anyway, you know you are both in my thoughts and prayers. Harrybaby:D :D :D

We shall see, but this is supposed to be a new way of cleaning you out. Miralax and Zelnorm. Drink the Miralax with 64 oz of Gatorade. One 8oz cup every 20 minutes til gone.

Ross,

Praying for Chris and you and your family that everything goes well for all.

I know you wish you could be there, theres nothing more heart breaking than watching you children suffer. As always, my prayers are with both you and now Chris

you'll all be in my prayers, and I'm glad he was able to find a surgeon to operate before the insurance was figured out, Lyn

Ross,
So sorry to hear that news but glad that maybe this surgeon can help your son. And I know it's hard, but don't feel bad that you can't be there for him, you have to take care of yourself. I learned it the hard way myself. I truly hurt for all of you, prayers expedited for all!

Hi Ross, glad that the surgeon is going to try and save his foot. That is the good news. Let's hope he can.

Hey, there is no way you or Lynn can be with him when you are getting ready for the dreaded colonoscopy......you really have to get that taken care of.

He'll probably find that the hospital staff will be very good to him. Here's hoping for the best.

Good luck to you both.

Thinking of you.
