I can identify with trying to run coming off the bike - I used to feel like that even when I was fit! It must have been a great feeling of accomplishment to complete the event and feel like you are returning to 'normal'.

I'm still waiting for my surgery, but anticpate it happening in the next few weeks. Maybe one day i'll be able to compete in another event and reprise the 'dead legs' feeling!

I can't help thinking about three years ago when I could barely make it to the end of my driveway and back after my AVR.
All of you hang in there...we all have a lot of life yet to live!
