    Yikes!

    My surgeon told me that the port would be in my neck, so that takes away those worries. I have small veins like you too. My AVR is scheduled for Mon 11-15 at 8am.

    My nerves haven't hit yet. But the more I think about it, I'm sure they will. I'm having the mini thoractomy. The surgeon said there was a 15-20% chance that it wouldnt work and then they would have to do the full sternotomy. Im taking the chance. I have alot of people praying. SO I feel good...

    My angiogram went ok yesterday. I found out I have 2 cusps instead of 3 in my valve. Thats why I need it replaced. Now the good news. They're not going to do the vertical incision, they are going to try the horizontal, minimally invasive prodedure. Im glad. The recovery time is much...
