    Scar and the sun

Yes I guess I will make an effort to sunscreen it. Normally I do not use any sunscreen at all. I also don't actually lay in the sun a lot.

So do we need to use sunscreen more on our scar from OHS than any other part of our body? If yes why? Thank you.

If the nausea is still bothering you try raw ginger peeled and put on a saltine cracker. Took my nausea away.

I had high temperatures for a few weeks after my surgery. The pillow would be soaking wet. When I took tylenol the sweating got worse. Experienced headaches still to this day (9 weeks) Seem to be losing intensity. Had the burping of air too. Ate very little in the hospital. Just picked at stuff...

    This just in - DON'T SNEEZE !!!

I was lucky enough to only have to cough up the stuff in my lungs about 6 times but I am still haunted by others who seemed to have a never ending cough. I could only imagine the pain they experienced. I had one "lucky" nurse who would walk in just as a finally worked it out. Never ceased to...

The difference between 81mg aspirin and 80mg

Great thanks guys logically that 1mg of aspirin must be pretty small. I am going to switch to easier, cheaper 1mg extra aspirin and if you don't hear from me I was wrong.

    What's your name?

I am always so impressed when I get my INR testing done or any blood testing they ALWAYS ask me for my birth date before administering. Heard stories of surgeons working on the wrong knee or arm. Had a smart ass friend of mine write in felt pen on one of legs NOT THIS LEG.

The difference between 81mg aspirin and 80mg

I have been prescribed a non-prescription 80mg dose of aspirin each day. What I can gather, and I may be wrong, is that 80mg is a children's dose of aspirin. 81 mgs makes it an adult dose. I find the 81mg bottle very easy to find and you can buy it in fairly large quantities. The 80mg bottle is...

Totally agree with the recliner. Maybe some heating pads. Electric blanket. Although it will depend on what season it is.

coming up to four weeks two weeks of hell

Wow. That is tragic and scary Bina. On a scale of 1-10. 1 feeling the worst 10 the best. How do you normally feel. In the last 5 weeks I have had a few 7's with mostly 5's. How do you feel?

    Replacing unknowledgable cardiologist?!

I give you great credit for changing your cardioologist. I wish I had the energy to do it. I should have done it long ago when I wanted and had the energy. You have probably done one of the best things for your health.I have one of the best oncologist who has managed my leukemia for 12 years. HE...
