    Warfarin and Orange Juice

I have researched on the net the interaction between OJ and Warfarin levels and there are none. I did find a connection with Grapefruit and grapefruit juice. I never drink OJ unless I am sick and every single time I drink it for several days in a row my INR bottoms out. In one week I went from...

Does the sound of the "click" made by mechanical valves have any correlation to inr

I too believe the sound and my INR readings are related. If I hear a "louder" clicking I will get a lower number than if I get a "softer" clicking.

    Maze Procedure with Valve Replacement

I had a mini-maze....don't really know if there is a difference, along with my Mitral Valve Replacement. I was in A-Fib when I went into surgery and the surgeon didn't mention anything about a maze and since I wasnt on this site at the time, didnt really know anything about it myself. Had a HR...

    Eyes after surgery?

Can never remember not having the flashing lights in a zig zag pattern that would begin in one corner of my eye and take about 15-20 minutes to move all the way across and out of my vision. No headache though. My eye doctor told me this was a migraine without the headache and I was lucky. Cannot...

    Soooooo tired

I was in total denial about my symptoms. I was still telling everyone I had none, and in the mornings getting up to go to work...sitting on the side of the bed thinking I just couldn't do it that day. I was getting out of breath going up stairs or walking any distance....but was fine other wise...

Thank you all for taking time to answer and help me to calm down! I can ALWAYS count on ya'll to get me through some of these tough issues! 5.9!

Here is the only thing I can tell you that is different in the two weeks since my last test. The doctor put me on a cholesterol medication. I dont have my bottle so I couldn't tell you which one, but I know it wasnt Crestor or Lipotor. I called the pharmacy a few minutes ago who filled it last...

    5.9!

I have been stable in my INR for months now! I am still testing twice a month because that works for me and my clinic doesn't mind..sooo....Two weeks ago my INR was 2.8 which is where it usually stays ...give or take. I started a low fat diet....no sweets or red meat and was actually eating MORE...

    A-Fib

I thought I was so past this! I am a little over 2 years with my mitral valve replacement and last night went into A-Fib for several hours. It wore me out so bad, I couldn't go to work today as I feel like I worked all night! Once I finally went to sleep, I woke up in sinus rhythm. I am so upset...
