I am starting to have small sharp pains on the left side of my chest. The dr. says it is normal and increased my bp medicine. Does that sound normal to any of you. Very small sharp pains but I have them a few times during the day. Thanks Bobbie

My cousin just had OHS for a mitral valve repair. He says you cannot have any type of surgery other then open heart since its the mitral valve. Can anyone tell me if this is true. I have also had two drs. tell me different things. One says you can the other you can't. I am confused.

Does anyone with MVP with leakage have a symptom of when lying on your side and getting a strange sensation almost like not getting enough air. I also have a sensation that makes me cough. Could this be due to my condition, stress or something else. It seems to be in the middle of my chest Bobbie
