Lunesta Lunesta I take a half a lunesta some weeks. Others I can go to sleep on my own. I have noticed that I wake up several times a night when I don't. I tried the melatonin and benadryl but they didn't work. Insomnia started about 6 months after MVR.

Gerd Gerd I've also got the GERD thing and it really kicks in at night. My doc says that the acid messes with a nerve or something near the esophegus and makes the heart act up. This of course gives me anxiety and causes an anxiety attack in the middle of the night...which causes more acid...
