My advice is DO IT. Waiting can be horrible for you mind set and could worsen your condition....from my experience waiting is not the best option. The sooner you get the surgery, the sooner you will be given a clean bill of health! You and your wife can seize everyday of your life and feel so...

I think the couple weeks at home after the surgery were the absolute worst. I felt depressed, terrified and just weak. I PROMISE it will pass!!!!!!!! Hang in there and make sure you do the absolutely horrendous breathing exercises...You can do it it!!!
