Well, I went for my pre op tests yesterday and I got a suprise I was not expecting. My surgeon is going to do Robotic Mitral Valve repair. Can anyone tell about this type of surgery? How long was your hospital stay, recovery time, pain level etc.?

Hi all, I have been reading on this forum for quite a few days and even registered last week but this will be my first post. I am scheduled to have pre op tests on 6/29/2010, heart cath on 6/30/2010 and then mitral valve repair on 7/15/2010. Of course I am like everyone else on here - scared...
