Heart murmur at birth, told it was benign
April 2010, age 22 - seeing a respirologist/pulmonologist for unrelated problem, when the doctor notices my heart murmur seems to have gotten "louder". Echo reveals moderately severe aortic valve regurgitation. Referred to a cardiologist 3 weeks later.
May 2010 - baseline tests downgrade regurg to moderate, MRI reveals BAV, pseudoaneurysm of the descending aortic arch
December 2012, age 25 - Regurgitation now classified as severe, heart slightly enlarged, but not showing many symptoms
