When I was 7 I was diagnosed with Mitral Valve Stenosis. It was believed I got this from Rheumatic Fever as I was very ill at 7...but recent tests have shown it is congenital.

- Heart Cath, 2 TEE, and bike stress echo test.
Was scheduled for a Mitral Valve Balloon Angioplasty but was cancelled, and now scheduled for open heart surgery.
Now I am 27 years old awaiting Mitral Valve replacement surgery.
