Help Support Valve Replacement Forums:
Recently Diagnosed with MVP with severe regurgitation. I wish to learn from others experience as I navigate the health-care system and educate myself on types of valve replacements and possible medications involved.
I actively work in construction and hope I can continue to do so with adjustments as neccessary. I have a lot to learn, as my symptoms rapidly progressed my diagnosis came as quite a suprise.
In particular I am interested in possible ways to locate, vet, and choose the surgeon with whom I will be trusting my life. Luckily I have a PPO plan through my employment but there are so many directions to take where I live. I see this as posative in that my options are not limited, but on the other hand I want to make sure I do the proper research on and know what to look for.
