I have had Aortic Stenosis since birth. Had my first Open Heart Surgery at age 2 where they repaired my valve. I have been healthy throughout my life. I had a baby and about 10 months after having my son I started to get symptoms. Shortness of breath, palpations and really tired. On 11/12/10 I underwent my second Open Heart Surgery where they replaced my valve with a mechanical valve, cleaned up scar tissue from the first surgery and repaired the aortic root due to an aneurysm.
Walking/Running, Softball, boating, shopping and most important spending time with my family.
