I had the congenital heart defect Tetralogy of Fallot with an absent pulmonary valve. Corrected with surgery.

- Surgery
- 6/1988 (age 14) - VSD corrected, St. Jude mech valve inserted in pulmonic position
8/2009 (age 35) - replaced St. Jude with On-X mech valve, right ventricular outflow tract corrected
- Medications
- Coumadin (7.5 mg 4x a week, 5 mg 3x a week). Metropol, Prilosec, and 1 aspirin a day.
- Occupation
- English Instructor. I teach freshman / sophomore composition and research, and business writing at the university level. My research is about language, search engines, and images.

- I don't remember how I found it, I think it was through Google, but it might have been a link from another heart site.
