I will have to remember that one. Mine does keep me awake night when I am not really tired. I can no longer sleep on my left side, too loud. Cardio will not prescribe a sleep aide. He said to use white noise. The ceiling fan helps but not always. Karl

It hard to believe, but it is already five years ago today that my aortic valve was replaced and the ascending aortic aneurysm repaired. I can still remember most of the details, especially the pain. Remembering these things helps me to keep things in perspective and thankful. Karl

I hear my valve most of the time. Some nights are louder than others but I have not detected a pattern. I know of some people who have chronic health issues other than heart related. Compared to what they deal with, I will take a ticking valve any day. Karl

Congrats Jessie! I never knew I looked as bad as I felt until I returned to work and people were amazed at my skin complexion and finally admitted to me I looked grey for months. My family and friends said the same thing about me after my surgery. They were afaid that I would get upset. Karl
