    You are right. No body told me to avoid greens, it is just me :-). I wish they told me not to drink coffee while on coumain!!!. Sigh... my doctor told me "no restrictions", but be moderate!!!! What is moderate for anything? A cup of coffee/day or three cups/day? hmmm... Sugar is whole another...

    Warfarin is not a big issue Warfarin is not a big issue I'm 36/male. I had my AVR and root replaced at Stanford on 20th,July,2006. I opted to go with St.Judes mech valve. I don't see any issue with coumodin. I also do in home testing like some of the members here. I totally avoid greens...

    Checkout Stanford Checkout Stanford Since u r in SF Bay Area, did you try talking to Stanford Surgeons?. I had my AVR/Aneruesym repair by Dr.Craig Miller 5 weeks ago, . He is a great surgeon and I know one of the member had a reop with him as well. Good luck.
