Met the Cardio last night. My blod pressure was 93/52 with a pulse rate of 52. I'm normally about 110/65 with a pulse of 60. I'm usually very active but this slows me down. The cardio had no answer but to take me off sotalol and take one if I go into a -fib. Just last week I was feeling my...

Thanks for all the info. I left work early because as I sat and typed my last message, guess what happened, I went into a fib again, right after my lunch. I'm a very active person and just last week I never felt soo good so maybe I pushed it. All the things BVDR mentioned seem to cause it. I...

    A-Fib

Hello Bina. You eat just like me. No junk food, no salt, alcohol, coffee etc..My only concern with Sotalol is any long term effects and my normal heartbeat is only 60 bpm. I'm wondering with this, if I'll be sleepy. Besides the a-fib Ii usually feel great.

My "expert Cumadin lab" had me double up my cumadin (5mg to 10mg) and one lovenox shot the night of the surgery.

    Full Dental Extractions Fully Anticoagulated?

I too ended up in the ER twice with massive bleeding. It was Dec 8th when I had the extractions, and my gums are starting to heal up. I still have some bleeding though. The oral surgeon said it usually takes about a week. I think were the "ginny pigs". Do you know how long it take the lovenox...
