I never was symptomatic until December 2004 and have always lived a very active lifestyle. After my surgery I am aften very tired - probably from the meds (Coreg, Diavan, Norvasc).

- Ascending aortic resection on September 12, 2005. BAV and aneurism discovered December 2004. I still have my BAV but as of January '09 I have moderate-severe regurg and am being monitored for replacement in the future.

- 20mg Coreg, 320mg Diovan, 5mg Norvasc, 162mg Ecotrin OTC asprin, several multi-vites.

4.7-4.8 aneurism of ascending aorta & BAV
Surgery date 9-12-05 - resection of ascending aorta. Dr. Raissi decided to not replace my BAV as it looked to be in good shape at the time of surgery.
Very active lifestyle: I freedive, spearfish, play beach volleyball, lift weights (now lightly) and travel extensively (EricSacklerPhotography.com).
