- March 25, 2009. Aortic valve replacement (bovine tissue valve) and 5 cm ascending aortic aneurysm repair (replaced with graft).

- Nattokinase (instead of baby aspirin)
I am NOT on any kind of blood thinners. I don't have an artificial valve, so I don't need them.

I have BAVD. On 3/25/09 had Ascending Aortic Aneurysm repaired w/ graft, bicuspid aortic valve replaced w/ bovine tissue valve at 37 yrs old. Medication: nattokinase instead of baby aspirin (NOT on any blood thinners or blood pressure meds).
