I just celebrated 5 years since my St Jude mech implant, I didn’t know that I would be here today but neither did I care prior to having children. Now I have 3 kids that I...

Valve Decision For 44-year old who loves beer

I am 32 and also love beer but don’t drink as consistently as you. I can go a month without a beer and suddenly drink 4 IPAs or a pitcher of Yungling. If I were you I would plan on checking INR weekly. Ohhhhh, I also have a St. Jude mech. Moderation is key!

That day will never come, some of the prettiest goals come from a nice header into the bottom corner of the goal.

Life after Mechanical Valve --- 31 years old

@vitroc I do cycle from time to time. I will be doing it more often in the next few months. As soon as my daughter is able to sit in a carrier she will be my little cycling resistance partner.

    General Experience After AVR

Hi and thanks for the response. I have noticed that if I take deep breaths it does lower my heart rate, also when I'm sitting on the porcelain throne and lean forward it lowers it too. However, I am scared that the heart rate may become too low or that my heart would stop.

Hi, I can't relate but have you had your iron and testastorone checked? Your CFS could be unrelated to the procedure but a condition on its own.
