well said Pellicle. I had two open chest surgeries in 8 weeks: 5/2017 and 7/2017. first was AVR; second to put titanium plates in my sternum, which never fused from OHS - subsequently becoming dislocated. I'm still in pain and trying to recover. None of us ever knows (nor do the surgeons)...

I had titanium plates installed in my sternum 6 weeks ago to fix my sternum not healing after my OHS in June. Non-union is a rare complication, so I've not been able to find others to discuss this with. I would be grateful to email or chat with anyone who has had sternal plates installed, or...
