    One year follow up

    I got my AVR on November 6th, and was pretty beat up for a while. I had to be readmitted on the 17th after going home for two days. Turns out I had over a litre of fluid in my chest. I can shower and dress myself and life is getting back to pretty much normal. however I am still pretty weak...

    AVR two days ago

    Just got my on-x valve two days ago. And now my whole body does a slight twitch with every beat of the valve. Is this common or do i have a neurological disorder?

    new member need help!

    I do indeed have a bicuspid aortic valve. The doctors told my parents when I was little that I had a murmur abd it wouldnt cause any problems, I guess they were wrong. My greatest concern is maintaining a healthy INR level. And the restrictions that come with being on blood thinners.
