Mark, I didn't know that you could be off of blood thinners for 5 days if you needed surgery for something else. Then why the lovenox.

My bovine valve lasted for 9 years as of 4/2 of this year so now I need to get it fixed, it is very calcified. Went in for all the tavr tests this week, didn't get them back yet but found out right bundle branch block doesn't mix well with tavr. Other than that I have read good about it. If you...

Thanks Epstns, just trying to find out everything I can before surgery whether its tavr or savr. I'm just worried cuz I have the right bundle branch block. It isn't a good thing going in I guess. Just have to wander what causes it. I had it before the last surgery.

Epstns, Didn't you say that you may require another surgery in the future? I was worried about if you could get heart surgery with the pacemakers, does it just work like your own electrical system?

Just to let you know if it was possible to go mechanical for me, I would, cuz I went tissue but I guess it worked out because I ended up with cholesteatoma, a weird condition that they have to drill through your mastoid to get it out so all the digging in my head would probably be an issue. But...

I read a lot of good things about them. They do a lot of tavrs. They even did one on a 16 year old boy. It's on you tube. You can Google them. Looks like a good hospital.

Sorry I was out of town for testing. Cleveland. The interventional cardiologist is supposed to be really good. I'd probably rather have the surgery but don't want surgery after surgery as it gets worse with time seemed like tavr was the way to go till I found out about this bundle branch block...

Thank you for sharing, have been trying to find out whatever I can about pacemakers because I'm supposed to get a tavr just to try to buy some time to get an on x because like you said about the transfusion, I need several other surgeries and being on the blood thinners at this time isn't good...

Thank you, I need my gall bladder out too, hope it can wait till i get the heart issues taken care of. I read on facebook where someones gall bladder died after they had heart surgery. Wierd
