Best of Luck to you...Watch out for germs lurking in the room.:D ..Take care..bonnie

You know you'll be in my thoughts, Stretch. It goes faster and easier than you'd imagine, most of the time. Just try to let go when you get there, and let them do what they're good at until after the surgery. Then you can pick up the Watchful Eye duty again.

Consider what I said about breathing tube lip clamps, patient-controlled fentanyl, and tramadol on the way out. Each person is different, but I believe these things made it better for me. I also found that it was easier to wear their gowns, and just put a second one on backwards when I went for a stroll. Then they do all the washing and my stuff doesn't get dragged around on nasty hospital floors. Slippers should be slip-ons,as you'll not want to bend, and preferably cheap enough to throw away after you leave the hospital.

If you do wind up with the Freestyle instead of the Ross, remember that it's a phenomenally good valve setup that should last you a very long time, and provide you with excellent bloodflow.

Very best wishes,

Good Luck Stretch, I'll be thinking of you and praying all will go well. Before you know it, you'll be in recovery and on the other side of the mountain! Marcie

Excellent Luck!!

Excellent Luck!!

Hey Stretch!! You will have an excellent surgery and an easy time following!! It has been an honor to have your support and the good Karma remains all around you. Early congratulations! We are all looking forward to your recovery!...............J:cool:

Stretch,

Again our best wishes. You are in our prayers. Thanks for your insights, ideas, and humor. I'll check with you on the other side of the mountain.

BTW, last one home is a rotten egg - and I'll even give you a day head start!

Awesome news re: Chad and cutting the R.T. at Beth. We're all looking forward to the photo documentation. What an awesome opportunity!

Break a leg!

Hi Stretch!

As much as we enjoy your retelling of your surgical "mishaps", I'm going to be praying that you come through this one without any new adventures! We should have started a pool to see if you or David make it home first!!

From here on just relax and let God and the Drs.take care of everything.

Now get on out there and make us proud!!! Big group hug to you and Noni:)

Best wishes

Best wishes

Stretch,

for your surgery on Monday, I wish you all the best and I know, you will do just fine! Compared to what you've been through a few months ago, this will be a breeze, but remember to take it easy after climbing the mountain. Can't wait to see the pictures!

Martin

Good thoughts coming your way!

Good thoughts coming your way!

Stretch--the last 24 hours are the hardest. Just take a deep breath, try to get some sleep tonight (you probably won't but hey, you have all day tomorrow to sleep!) and let Dr Steltzer do his magic. Sounds like you are in great hands. Can't wait to see your pictures afterward.
Noni, be sure to take alot to keep you occupied while you're waiting. He'll be fine!

Best Wishes........

Best Wishes........

*Best Wishes for tomorrow.....I know your probably feeling a bit anxious, but honestly...I wish it were me. Just think of how GREAT you'll feel very soon. Warm thoughts and prayers coming across the pond. 8)

Thanks, Carolyn. I'm feeling great. Two close friends arrived in town this morning. One of them, and Noni and I, attended the Manhattan Church of Christ this morning, where Dr. Stelzer worships. It was the most diverse service I've ever been a part of- ethnically, internationally, gender, age, you name it. Very amazing and comforting.

Had a great lunch yesterday with Sylvia and Joey, and it was absolutely wonderful. Joey had lots of pointers for me, as did Sylvia for Noni.

I'm very much at ease.

Logging on from the Apple store at Central Park.

Godspeed...!

Godspeed...!

Stretch...so glad you and Noni got to meet Sylvia and Joey...great folks there.

And my last hint would be to unplug the phone in your room...and enjoy the peace and quiet and rest.

Buena suerte manana ...

God Bless You..

Best wishes tomorrow. I'll try to check to web site from Singapore (hope I can) to read the updates. I'm sorry that because of the timing we couldn't meet.

It's almost time....

It's almost time....

I know Stretch is probably and hopefully getting some good "zzz's" in right now...tomorrow being the big day...we await the good news. Our prayers have been flying upward.
