It's a busy week even though Thanksgiving is this week. Just want to send best wishes to Magic's valve on Monday, Farid on Tuesday and Oslo73 on Thursday. Hope you all sail through the surgery and recovery and are ready to enjoy the holidays in December!

Thanks Phyllis!

Thanks Phyllis!

I can`t wait to get it over with. My nerves are not liking this.
The one that I really feel sorry for is my girlfriend. It`s not funny being 5
months into pregnancy, and have the prospect of loosing your beloved.

I tell her several times every day it`s going to be fine. I hope it sinks in soon.

Good luck to Magic's and Farid. I have a strong feeling I will be writing in the
post-surgery section soon, and you will be there to read it.

There was a thread recently, What are the steps, which helped me alot.
The moments prior to surgery is my biggest fear. I`m glad we are not in the days when a bottle of whisky would do. :D

Oslo and others...you will all do fine!! We are looking forward to hearing of your success stories.......we wouldn't have it any other way!

Godspeed, Oslo, Magic and Farid!

Marguerite

Thank You All

Thank You All

We had an early thanksgiving yesterday at my sister?s house. I spent the early morning changing the brake fluid on my Miata, then replaced the front brakes on my sister?s car with my brother in law; i had too keep busy.

I went to early Mass this morning and came back to spent time with relatives who came to wish me well before the operation. I?m expecting my parents, but wanted to check the new postings on the vr.com?.so, here I?m.

Thank you all for wishing me well and keeping in touch. Reading this thread make me feel real good. Going to work ealy in the morning but will leave early and take a limo to the hotel. I?ll post again in the morning, but do not know when I?ll get back on line.

My brother Samy will be keeping you abreast of my situation. He?ll be posting updated under my name/account in the Post Surgery ?arena?. :D

To my comrades who will endeavor through one surgery or another next week, I wish you luck and easy recovery.
Good Night ALL. :D :D

Best wishes for successful surgeries for all you Thanksgiving week warriors. I wish you only the best going across the mountain. We all have so much to be thankful for. ...even more so at week's end.
God's Speed!
Debbi

Wishing each of you the best! and look forward to reading boring recovery posts afterwards!

Oslo, Magic and Farid,

I too send good thoughts and prayers your way for wonderful sucessful surgeries and smooth, boring recoveries. Your loved ones are also on my list....God Bless you all.

To all three of you - good luck and will be keeping you Thanksgiving troopers in my prayers!!

Thank you all.
BTW, I got a call from my surgeon, and he told me that he has a conference with my cord and someone else to review some data and ?film?. He stated that the aortic is at 4.3 and they all agree that the data shows tri-leflets?. In other words I?m not bicuspid and he does not see that any part of the aortic will be replaced. That is good news. :D :D

I'm all packed. The limo will be here in one hour. This is the last posting until you hear from my brother.

Later.:D
Farid.
