16 years ago had an aortic valve replacement done with a carbomedics
#21 bileaflet mechanical valve.in 1997 due to a cyst removal i had some
complications related to anticoagulation,then in 2006 developed endocarditis
and now am presently waiting for an appt for more tests as 2 echos reveal
rhuematic fever from years ago has now taken the mitral valve,in need of surgery so they are telling me...no appt date yet however. Had 2 echos done
recently this year.The mechanical aortic is fine of 16 years but my own native mitral needs to be changed out to a mechanical one.Having symptoms since Dec.2007 with the mitral....I will be glad to get it complete and done with.
