Just back from a two-week holiday/vacation in the sun (much needed after the long, grey days and rain of an English winter!), and just wanted to post about the freedom of self-testing having your own meter gives you. The change of diet and increase in alcohol consumption (cocktails by the pool are too good to resist!) lead to the expected rise in INR. But of course I was able to see that, and adjust my warfarin dose down to compensate. No dramas, just the joys of going back to work again now ....
