Recommendation for fingertip pulse/heart rate monitor

Do you all use heart rate monitors? Most heart rate monitors out there are for exercise, with the chest strap. I am looking for something that I can use when I am feeling symptoms to check my heart rate, so a fingertip one is best. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I have a regular BP monitor which reads my pulse also, but I'm hoping to get one of these watches which will read the HR by fingertip pulse.
They run around $70 and are available in a women's model....slightly smaller, nicer colours.
