I'm posting this for our member Flowergal. She is currently in the hospital and asked me to post this for her.

She wants to know if any of you who received radiation have experience any issues with your upper spine. Specifically, they have done a myelogram and when they inject the dye from the lower part, it stops about 2/3 of the way up. When they inject it from the upper spine, it basically doesn't go anywhere. This is the area that she received the radiation treatment in. They don't know if there is a mass in that area, or if there is just radation damage there that is causing this to happen. Have any of you experienced anything like this?

Thanks so much on behalf of Hiafa.

I don't recall reading anything about this potential side effect from Radiation Survivors.

I will have to Google "myelogram" to find out what that procedure is about...
