Pre-Hab

I need an AVR in July and I have been on a strict regiment of light PT, healthy nutrition and mental preparedness. I call it Pre-Hab. Anyone else getting ready for the big day and the Re-Hab that follows?

My Pre-Hab was to stop smoking, spend more time with my family (including dog) and drink top shelf liquor.

Steve excellent Idea. I lost 10 lbs, spoke with my spiritual advisors and a psychologist.
I was physically, mentally and spiritually ready.
I contribute it all to coming through surgery so well.

Been 27 months now. Doing Great! Best of Luck!!!!

I did pretty much the same. Increased my cardio, tweaked my diet and dropped around 20 lbs. I figured that way if I was finding myself more easily winded than usual post surgery I could put it down to where I was in my recovery knowing that my general conditioning was pretty good.
