My brother's AVR on June 4th

Now that you're finished helping me though it, would you please remember my brother, Bud, in your prayers? He's scheduled for an AVR on June 4th with Dr. Scott Goldman at Lankenau Hospital (Phila. area) and will be part of a clinical trial with a new tissue valve from St. Jude. That makes me nervous- although he's fine with it. This came up after we found out mine needed to be replaced. Both of our original valves are tricuspid.

Sure will, Ruthie. June 4 is turning out to be a busy day.

Not only do we have two VR members having replacement, Carla is having kidney surgery and now your brother is having AVR. There will be alot of praying going around that day!

All the very best wishes and prayers for your brother...he is very lucky to have such a wonderful sister who can help him through this. Thats probably why he is not so worried. I will be interested to hear how the new tissue StJudes valve goes.
