Do you think Hank or anyone else would know how to contact this guy, it would be great to find out how he is doing.

Im pretty sure once you arent a member all your info is gone. Once in a while if the old member was active for a while and made friends someone might still be intouch, but usually once they are gone long enough there membership is deleted you never hear anything unless they join again for some reason
