Hospital selection?

Has any member had their AVR @ Shands Hospital in Gainesville, FL? And if so, who was your surgeon?

I recall several people having surgery at Shands on here. You should do a search on here for Shands and their threads should come up for you.

I can't speak to surgery there, but I did have my regular check-ups there for years and found the general quality of care to be excellent. Dr. James Hill was a fantastic cardiologist. Hope that helps some.
