Hope this is the correct place for this question. Now that I am beginning to receive bills for this crazy thing, I am wondering what charges will be for surgeon at CC. I have Medicare, but no co-insurance. I will owe 20% of the Medicare "approved" amount. Does anyone have an idea of the "ball park" amount Medicare may approve?

Dick had Medicare and no co-insurance at the time of his surgery. He had AVR and was in the hospital fo 4 days plus the pre-op and cath. The total was over $100,000 and we were out of pocket around $1700.
