And I just found out that mine and my husbands Social Security wages will be taxed. We have to claim 85% of it on our Federal Taxes.
 
After reading all of your posts, I consider myself very lucky to receive $1133.00/month for SSDI but it was also based on approx. 30 years of employment with different employers. I didn't qualify for medicare or medicaid but that was okay because my husband fortunately is still employed w/his employer for 25 years & I'm on his insurance plan.

I was also fortunate enough to take early medical retirement from my last employer of 20 years & so I receive a pension from them as well. I actually get more from my pension (PERA) than I do from SSDI.
