Completed two years.

Cardio is haapy that heart function (including EF) is back to normal. He took me off of Metoprolol which gave me all sorts of side effects first one year.

No issues with coumadin management barring occasional highs and lows of inr levels.

Congratulations. Some of the side effects of metoprolol can be helpful...I found it much easier to keep calm when my wife and 17 yo daughter had "discussions." :)

Tom - Anxiety control/reduction is one of the "off-label" uses of metoprolol. My daughter has worked in a mental health facility, and told me that sometimes doctors prescribed metoprolol for patients who needed just a little bit of "help" in controlling anxiety. I do find that I am more excitable since reducing my metoprolol dosage, but I feel better in many other ways since the change.
