Yesterday I noticed my execise pulse while swimmimg laps was 20 to 25 BPM above my normal pulse with swimming. Also felt PVCs every 7the beat.Just wondering if I should let Cardiologist know about this?

hi I have experienced this in the past I found with me it's all or one of 3 things.

1. overtraining
2. low magnesium levels.
3.dehydrated.

if things are normally ok and this is a new experience it's worth ruling out the above.

the dehydration is the worst for me remember it's not about just drinking fluid you need to be hydrated at a cellular level.
electrolyte balance is crucial.

just a thought

good luck

I would run it by your Cardio. He might give you an EKG and/or 24hr halter monitor (kind of hard to use though when you are swimming!) to see if they are benign PVC's or something more concerning.
