If you take it daily for pain and inflammation, and you’re consistent with your dose, then “dosing the diet” should apply here too.

If you take it randomly as needed for pain, it could present challenges in regulating your INR. That said, I’ve taken steroids and anti-inflammatory meds (prescription) for back pain while on warfarin. During treatment, I increased my testing and adjusted my warfarin dosing as needed. I did go out of range to the high side, and was glad when I was done.
I have no troubles when taking extra strength Tylenol.

Me either. I wasn’t talking about Tylenol though. I was discussing anti-inflammatories. 😁
MY go to for pain relief from and for anti-inflammatories, i have arthritis on my spine, and other things, and i use THC, it is gods gift to me! works great and is awesome, usta use otc meds, but they dont work any longer, even TYLENOL, last time i used that, i was downing em like candy, i was in lots of pain! didnt work! then i tried TRAMADOL, this is an awful drug i think, and am glad i am off of it, forever!

Actually, acetaminophen is an anti-inflammatory. And is a pain reliever and fever reducer. I use the extra-strength. And you cannot take Advil or ibuprofen as they have many side effects.

Justmadi was correct.

Tylenol is not anti inflammatory.

Earlier I mistakenly said it was. It came from a conversation with my cardiologist. It doesn't work as a pain reliever for either of us. It was his characterization but in my mind I mixed up the "F" words (anti in>F<lammatory and >F<ever reducer). Supposedly, it can reduce a fever but I have only tried it for pain relief. Same goes for anti inflammation, anything with that and pain relief in its description ...it is the other thing(s) that may work but the pain application is what I have been interested in. It does seem to enhance other drugs when combined but on its own it has no effect on me.

Is it the THC or CBD? It is not an option available to me as my work is federally compliant. It has been interesting considering it for a pain reliever. A girl I know smokes it daily. Her BF aims at the CBD benefits. It is legal in my state and shops carry many refined forms. Another man I know through work used to manage a distributor. He said its pain relief is more indirect, like it effects something that helps you feel better which keeps you from doing things which makes the pain worse.

Hi i only joined this forum yesterday can i ask if your back and neck pain were due to surgery?
Hi Nick
No - sadly I suffer fromAnkylosing Spondilitis, and have been for 25 years although it was only diagnosed last year! As a result - much structural damage, difficulty walking and also - more importantly - difficulty breathing as my ribcage has now seized-up.
As to whether this was 'caused' by surgery, then no - it is an auto-immune disease. What I do suspect, however, was that as I was undiagnosed at the time of my Endocarditis which required emergency valve replacement, that the opening-up of my ribcage undoubtedly did no favours to my spine. I can't hold anyone to blame for this, as it was an unknown at the time, however if you DO have back issues and require OHS, then I insist that you discuss with your surgeon, so that they can take this into account before a final decision is made as to how best to surgically proceed.
Hope that helps clarify
Good luck

Hey all - I JUST found the perfect pain relievers. Pull up a chair and listen closely........

Firstly, you go to the forest and find ypurselves some magic mushrooms. Hydrate them a little (when you are home and safe from marauders or gangsters) and then slowly chew them. BTW - don't EVER take mushrooms when you are alone, children. Always have someone coherent (or relatively-so) standing-by, just in case you float off the planet somewhat.
Then - whilst chewing, take yourselves an opium pill. It will make you fly as high as Felix Baumgartner.
If you ever wake up, then the chances are that the pain will be a long-lost memory.
Of course - there is also a risk that your entire life will ALSO be a long-lost memory, but at least you will have been to the other side and back in the process, and have the benefits of all of those psychedelic experiences to bury the pain, discomfort and also desperation!
p.s - only joking (for those with a humour bypass!!)

I have chronic back pain from vertebral compression fractures nerve damage. I take acetaminophen twice a day, gabapentin 3 times per day, duloxetine (Cymbalta) twice per day (for pain, not depression or anxiety) and tramadol if I am having a particularly bad day.

I would probably be just as concerned with my liver and kidneys as the blood thinners. I hope you get those items periodically checked.
