Waiting for a date

Well, I’ve now had my pre assessment for my redo aortic valve replacement and am just now waiting for the call to give me a date. Still feel terrified about it all and due to Covid will have to wait to go down to theatre alone. Hoping that it’s as straightforward as it can be and am grateful to all of the advice and reading I’ve done on this forum to make my decision to have another mechanical valve rather than Ross procedure. Looking forward to being on the other side of surgery so that I don’t need to be thinking about it anymore.
