Someone who needs help...

Following is a message that I hope one of my vr.com buddies will reply to. Use e-mail replies as I am posting this for Dave and he doesn't know who we are yet.

Here's the message:

I have been a member of the Mended Hearts for 11 years. I had a mitral  
valve replacement on November 21, 1991 (Baxter Tissue Heart Valve -  
model 6625). 
 
I have been told my the doctors that the valve is now starting to leak,  
and that I should start planning to have another surgery in the next 60  
days. 
 
Here is my request for help: 
 
(1) Is it possible to find a member in our organization that has had a  
"biological-valve" and then elected a "mechanical-valve" - I know that  
there is a quality of life change, but would like to speak "first-hand"  
to someone who has experienced both 
 
(2) Is there a good source of information on the life style restrictions  
if I choose a mechanical valve (and then are on a  
daily-Coumiden-regime)?
