Two-time AVR Vet
Hello all, just wanted to let you all know that I went skiing last weekend...without incident. I was so worried before going, as I have not skiied since before my AVR 3 1/2 years ago. This is one of my pleasures in life that I was worried I would not ever again enjoy. But Vail Mountain welcomed me with open arms and treated me right.
I also went snowmobiling at Copper Mt and felt a little "tingly," but I chalk that up to altitude sickness. Once I got back down I was good.
Anyway, I just wanted to post something happy. I still take meds for bp and arrythmia, but last week showed I can resume some of my favorite activities from my "first life."
Now if I can only find the nerve to re-join my hockey league..............
Thanks for listening.
