Thank for updating and glad to hear it all went fairly well. I agree with you on second surgery and am glad I got the mechanical as I hope to not have another. With my first surgery by this time I was a lot further along in my healing process.
I also think they do a great job at Mayo and can tell you my family was very happy with everything there also.
