PA bifurcation meaning

Hiya all,

Hope you are all well.

I've not posted for a while as I've only just had another MRI, on the results it says "Ascending aorta at the level of the PA bifurcation 33 x 37mm"
What does that mean in regards to the PA bifurcation?

I'm doing well with aorta now at 40mm so steady slow increase from 38mm in 2018.

I think PA stand for pulmonary artery The PA bifurcate below the aortic arch, into right and left main pulmonary arteries at the level of the carina. Carina means the bifurcation of the trachea
