I posted a week or so ago saying feeling terrible for a long time . Went to a and e . Was told significant ejection murmer and all pointing to aortic valve stenosis caused by auto immune.
Chest pain . Pain down arms and in underarms . Out of puff . Absolutely exhausted. Swollen feet . Palpitations bouncing through my body from out of no where . Heart rate always sitting around 100 bpm and then shooting up to 180 ish even at rest then dropping back down . Etc. Fast forward got echo today and heart appears structuarly normal . And its likely electrical and to wear a holster and go from there . Obviously I'm delighted I dont have a stenosis of my valve but I dont feel confident in the drs now as theyd allready told me it was aortic valve. Tho they did mention bundle branch block on ecg . Has anyone else experienced anything like this x

I've been trying to keep away from Google as I'm terrified x
myself I advise googling to understand terms, but avoid asking questions like

  • "will this kill me"
  • is branch bundle fatal
  • will I still be able to enjoy life

many things are treatable with modern "pacemakers". You'll be seeing someone like this soon:

What is Electrocardiology?
An electrocardiologist, also known as a cardiac electrophysiologist, is a cardiologist who specializes in the electrical system of the heart. These doctors receive the same education and training as a cardiologist, as well as additional training to diagnose and treat heart arrhythmias and cardiac rhythm disorders.

They'll sort out things that are needed and if an intervention is needed ...

Best Wishes

So kind of you to take the time x thankyou so much x you have told me more than drs have in months 🤣

I have found doctors explain more to you if you show them you know more.
The heart is muscle chambers, valves, blood pipes and electric signals...one issue affects the others eventually so knowing a problem is not necessarily knowing the cause of the problem.
Doctors can treat a problem without getting to the root of the problem. That's where your involvement is required.

I understand x my friend is a sister in icu coronary care x she tells me sometimes ignorance is bliss x

I'm curious ... why are there apparently random x's sprinkled through your messages?

Sometimes they appear to be serving the function of a comma, other times a full stop.

Now I bet they did not even explain that the swelling in the leg could be Edema, which I have and Weeping Edema, which many heart patients do develop. And for the other points, it is not unusual for some specialists are hard up for time, since they are loaded up with 30 patients to see in an hour all over the world. You can do your research to use what information they give you and find more information for them. They are not trained in layman terms, so we get lost in the jumble of medical terms. So true. My problem was a so called cardio who took my blood pressure(which I have never had a cardio do in all of my natural life and time in cardiology clinic) said my blood pressure was 500. Not over what and proceeded to give me a script for blood pressure med. Went to my PC three times to check my BP and it was normal. Talk about rise in BP when a Cardio knew nothing.

I've had ECG's/EKG's and since my surgeries in 2013 and 2021, noticed they indicated left bundle branch block. When I questioned more than one Cardiologist, they responded either; "it was probably a bad test and technician error", or "it's not a very accurate test and we rely more upon the Echo". And then compare Echo results to any symptoms or how you are feeling. They said it was probably caused by disturbing the nerve bundles during my first surgery, which was the less invasive mini-sternotomy. One example of why I now feel that the full sternotomy is the better & safer route. But, that's just my opinion.

Ah i see x I've never had any surgery or heart issues x I was relieved to see myvalves were ok but just wondering where do we go now as all symptoms pointed towards that x I just desperately want to feel well again x

This is what my heart rate does mostly daily x shoots up out of nowhere and gives me horrendous palpitations and pains tho I can get bad palpitations even when it's down around 60 x

Sometimes my dot button doesn't work so use an x instead

if the button feels physically different to press (and especially if its a laptop) it could just be a build up of gunge or dust or even a crumb try:
  • using a pickster to run along the lines between the keys
  • (carefuly, gengly but firmly) bang the laptop lower edge on a table top (with the screen at 90deg to the keyboard and the screen in the same plane as the floor). This can dislodge particles
  • with the corner attachment on the vacuum cleaner (or better, with a dust buster) vaccume the keyboard along the lines between the keys.
  • a folded "Post-it" note with the sticky side folded to be on the outside inserted under they key and moved around
these things have worked for me
