Nine Years Ago today, 12/12/07 I had 63 minutes of "heart-stopping drama" as my flail mitral valve had its emergency repair while I was in severe heart-failure and nearly fatal severe pulmonary edema. By the grace of God I survived. While it took many years to get over the depression, it's gradually improving. Still not employed yet, but now I think it's just a matter of time. Thanks for the support and prayers over the years as I whined or rejoiced over this and that. I'm glad to see so many of my old friends still here and active, too. I miss Ross, as no doubt we all do--he was sure quite the asset to our group while he, himself suffered from so much. Thanks Hank for keeping this site going, and I hope to see it here for many more years to come. Maybe I'll stop by a bit more often and renew old friendships and make new friends.
